Mindfulness Group

Join us for our summer Mindfulness Group! This 9-week mindfulness group utilizes psychotherapeutic modalities as well as mindfulness practices to discover how anxiety, depression, and stress impact the mind and body and experience the benefits of for both immediate and long-term relief. Each week we will focus on a different topic, teach specific skills and practices, and discuss how to extend the mindfulness skills in a practical way to your day to day life. In this group, you can expect to have skills building, receive psycho-education, increase awareness into your thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and continue to learn about the mind-body connection. The group dynamic allows the opportunity to engage with others with similar diagnosis in a setting that is free from judgment, feel supported, and ultimately improve your social and interpersonal skills.

Some mindfulness exercises to expect include breathing techniques, gentle yoga postures able to do in a seated position, meditations, aromatherapy, and music therapy. This is an open group, meaning you may attend one session or sign up for all nine!

Time: Thursdays 7-8pm, June 21 - August 23 (No group July 5th).

Cost: $30/person/session. Co-pay is due upon registration. Registration is due by noon the day of group. You may register ahead to reserve your spot.
