Zaynah Hunt is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of North Carolina. Her passion for the field comes from seeing the transformative power of therapy in individuals experiencing life transitions, relationship distress, self-esteem issues, grief, stress, burnout, and mental health disorders. She enjoys providing a safe space for individuals to explore their concerns and improve their well-being and quality of life.

Zaynah’s experience includes assessing and counseling adults with diverse backgrounds and needs, including veterans and their families. She provides individual therapy to people experiencing a wide range of concerns including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders, relationship distress, parenting concerns, self-esteem issues, grief, stress, burnout, life transitions, career concerns, and issues related to motivation and finding a sense of purpose. Also trained in Christian Counseling, Zaynah has a passion for helping individuals create healthy relationships with themselves and others.


Zaynah is a graduate of Hampton University and North Carolina State University, where she received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Sociology. Zaynah also holds a master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. She has completed the required 3,000 counseling hours for full licensure. In her free time, Zaynah enjoys practicing self-care, spending time with her family, and trying new recipes.
