Ellen Anderson, MA, LCMHCA specializes in helping adolescents and adults overcome eating disorders, anxiety, and mood disorders.
Ellen uses a holistic approach that views clients through the lens of the whole person: emotionally, relationally, physically, and spiritually.
With experience working at higher levels of care, Ellen uses a blend of therapeutic approaches, including Emotion-Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Gestalt to facilitate greater self-awareness, mental freedom, and emotional tolerance. Ellen works with individuals experiencing a range of challenges, including disordered eating, perfectionism, low self-esteem, codependency, and stress related to adulting. Ellen provides a safe, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic space so that clients may feel empowered to recognize their strengths and heal from suffering.
Ellen received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University
of North Carolina Charlotte and is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor – Associate in North Carolina.
As a native Tennessean, Ellen enjoys exploring Charlotte, trying new restaurants, being
outside in nature, and spending quality time with her close friends and family.
